About Us
Sinfin Lighting is a family company that is totally Australian owned. Commencing business in January 2007, we have slowly grown to being the provider of the largest range of LED lighting on the Sunshine Coast. The wide variety of LED and energy efficient lights we have available enables us to meet customers requirements from domestic and office lighting, to flood and spot lighting, to caravans and RVs. We can also provide lighting for pontoons, jetties and gardens. We have provided lighting for offices, doctors surgeries, retirement villages, houses, B&Bs etc. where we have been able to dramatically cut energy consumption, resulting in major electricity savings. Additionally we provide many replacement LED globes and lights to the marine and caravan industry. Having such a large range of lights & globes, enables us to cater for most requests from throughout Australia.
We are a participating business in the Sunshine Coast Regional Council ‘Living Smart’ Program, and in 2008 we were nominated for a ‘Froggy Award’ by the Sunshine Coast Environment Council for the contribution we are making towards climate change mitigation. We also sit on the local committee of the Environmental Industries Energy Working Group, helping to move towards a sustainable future for the Sunshine Coast, and a member of the Kawana Waters Chamber of Commerce.
Electricity costs are constantly rising, and will continue to do so until at least 2015, with a predicted rise by the Queensland State Government of 66%, plus a further 18% predicted by Federal Treasury upon the introduction of the Federal Governments Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. The easiest way you can help in reducing your mounting energy costs, is to change wherever possible to LED / CCFL energy efficient Lighting. This could mean the whole house, retail shop or office, or only selected areas. In most cases, this will only mean a bulb change, using existing fittings.
When shopping for LEDs, be aware that not all LEDs are created equal. In other words, just like buying a motor vehicle, there is Mecedes Benz Quality and there is a lower priced alternative, with various qualities in between. It is a case of you pay for what you get. The LEDs we provide are of a commercial quality to ensure their long life and brightness.
If you have halogen or incandescent lighting in your motor home or campervan, there is an excellent possibility that we can supply an LED alternative that will slip straight in with no change to the fitting.
