Hello Paul
I just want to say thank you for introducing us to these new fluorescent lights to replace our 12v halogen down lights. We have six in our reception in our Business Centre and after we replaced them all with your 9 watt bulbs no one noticed the change. Quite impressive when you replace 50 watt halogens with 9 watt fluorescent lights. Power consumption has gone down from 300 watts to 54 watts. In addition to this I was able to reduce the number of transformers driving these lights gaining further power saving.
I am very happy with the new lights.

By the way, I am very pleased with the LED lights you provided for my home - they project a very clear but soft light for the kitchen and a
good bright & adequate light for the garage.
With my regards,

With rising electricity costs, we knew that we wanted to install energy efficient LED lights, however, when we went to the local light shops they were not knowledgeable about this form of lighting. Some offered a compact fluorescent alternative (which we did not want), some said to come back in 6-12 months when the lights we were looking for might be available, and one store had the lights that we were looking for, but they were very expensive, the staff were unable to answer questions about the lights and we would have to wait for up to a week for them to arrive in store.
Paul was knowledgeable, his product was well priced and he was able to get them to us quickly. Paul was able to demonstrate the lights in our house and we adjusted our selection based on the performance of the lights.
Once installed the lights performed exactly as we hoped and they look great. We are now waiting for our next electricity bill to see how much of a difference it makes to our wallet.

“For your information my electrician came in and checked the before and after electricity usage and he says my lights are using a quarter of the power compared with the previous set up – that’s a 75% saving I will get on my next lights bill!”

To Whom It May Concern:
I have been dealing with Paul from Sinfin Lighting for around about 12 months now. I have always found the service to be absolutely “top notch”. Not only are my phone calls readily received, actioned etc. but the quality of the service would put some local businesses here on the coast to shame!
With regard to the lighting and not being technical, I have to say that it is fantastic. I have a four bed roomed home that I operate my clinic from and have installed the lighting through out the halls and reception area, and the kitchen. There are numerous comments about the great lights and I absolutely love them.
Initially for a domestic home it is realistic that one has to be conscious of the upfront cost. Having said that, I feel that the reduction in the electricity running costs over the next few months will definitely be reflected on the electricity bill. Over time it has to be a magnificent investment as the lighting lasts a long long time and of course not to be ignored is also the environmental considerations as well.
Electricity is becoming such an expensive item for everyone I think when it is time for a change in the existing lighting in the home people could consider doing as I did, that is just make a start and over time replace the lighting for LED.
With sincere thanks,

Hi Paul
I have been able to measure the power consumption of my existing florescent lights and also after we have installed the 23w LED lighting tubes. The existing florescent lights are fitted with 36w tubes and there are two in each light box. The power draw is about 97 watts per light box, so it can be estimated that the ballast is drawing about 20 watts. After the light box is converted for LED lights (ballast removed) and replacing with two 23 watts tubes the power draw is 46 watts per light box. Considering that I have 69 light boxes in R1 I am consuming 6693 watts per hour of use (6.693 kwh).
After I replace all the florescent lights with your LED lights that power consumption will drop to 3.174 kwh. At about 19 cents per kwh my costs will drop from $1.27 to $0.60 per hour of use. Assuming my lights run 9 hours a day 5 days a week my weekly cost will be reduced from $57.15 to $27 a week. (301kwh to 142 kwh per week) In addition to this I have other lights such as those 50 watt halogen lights I will be converting to 5 watt LEDs. I am also impressed on the quality of light in the offices. It is much brighter and cleaner light.
So not only is it cheaper to run it provides a better light.
Paul thank you for your assistance
